How does it all work?

If you telephone or email our support representatives, they will take your details and a brief description of the problem. The engineer will then discuss your issues and possible courses of action. In most cases, if your broadband connection is working, we can connect remotely to your machine and resolve your issue. If an engineer has to visit your home, you can arrange an appointment with the engineer direct. You can also email us with your query and one of our representatives will get back to you within the hour.

Do I need to do anything to prepare for a SefiTech support specialist's arrival?
Answer:
No, all we ask is that you provide a safe working environment with access to electrical power. You must also provide access to your residence and an adult must be present at all times.

All of our engineers carry proof of ID and evidence of our qualifications. Our engineers have worked hard for their qualifications and are proud to show it. We are the real deal and don't believe in deceiving our customers.

What can you expect when a SefiTech engineer arrives at your home?
Answer:
We will try our very utmost to fix your problem. If the problem can be resolved, we will let you know what we can do, how we fixed your issue and how to prevent it from occurring again. All this will be explained in a no-nonsense manner and we won't spray you with technical jargon. If an engineer deems the issue unsolvable, we won't charge you a penny.

How does SefiTech charge?
Answer:
We accept payment on the phone and online. Our engineers will also accept cash if necessary. You can buy a package directly from our website saving you time and money. Otherwise, if you phone and make an appointment, our representatives will take your details, name, address and payment information. As we operate on a no fix - no fee basis, you will not be charged until an engineer has assessed your problem and gained your approval. If the engineer can resolve your issue, he will charge you after all work is carried out. The engineer will print an invoice for any work carried out onsite for receipt purposes.

Are you around 24 hours a day?
Answer:
If you need help, we'll try and resolve issues remotely first. If we can't resolve the issue, we will send an engineer out to assist 24 hours a day.

What guarantee can you give that my issue is resolved?

We pride ourselves on providing an exceptional service. In the unlikely instance that your issue may reoccur, we offer a 30 day SefiTech promise. If your problem returns within this period, we'll send someone out at no extra cost. If an issue you are having is fixed remotely, we offer a 10 day warranty. What do you mean by qualified support engineers?
Answer:
All of our engineers are full MCSE (Microsoft Certified Systems Engineers 2003), an intense study program official to Microsoft. The program includes intensive study and 7 x 4 hour exams. We believe this is the least in qualifications one of engineers should possess.

Our engineers must also have attained the MOS (Microsoft Office Specialist 2003). This proves that our engineers are qualified in using, configuring and setting up the most recognised office packages today. The course includes intensive study and 5 x 2.5 hour exams.

Even though our engineers have many other qualifications, the Veritas Certifed Backup Engineer qualification is also possessed by some of our engineers. How does remote support work?

It's really quite simple. We send you a special email with either a link or an attachment. You then click on the link or attachment, this in turn initates a connection to our support engineer who is then able to control your mouse like we were there in your front room. The connection is secure and we do not install any additional software on your pc. Remote support saves us and you time and money. All you have to do is make an appointment via email or phone and we will do the rest.
